This entry-level opportunity allows graduate engineers to join Lesedi’s Design Group within the Nuclear Division, gaining practical exposure to the roll-out of design work across diverse projects. The role provides hands-on experience that builds technical competence, professional development, and collaboration skills, while supporting progress toward professional registration with ECSA. Successful candidates will contribute to project execution, innovation, and compliance, while working under the guidance of senior engineers in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of engineering principles relevant to Control & Instrumentation
Ensures accuracy and quality of technical work including drawings, calculations, designs, and reports
Applies engineering standards, codes, and regulations in all tasks
Learns and adopts new tools, software, and methodologies
Contributes to project milestones and deliverables
Completes assigned tasks within deadlines
Applies problem-solving and analytical skills in project work
Documents work performed effectively and professionally
Participates actively in training programs, mentorship, and continuous learning
Works toward professional registration with ECSA or equivalent bodies
Shows initiative in expanding technical knowledge and skills
Collaborates effectively under supervision of senior engineers
Builds positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients
Communicates clearly in meetings, reports, and presentations
Adheres to company and industry safety protocols
Identifies and escalates risks or safety concerns promptly
Ensures quality assurance and compliance in all work produced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field relevant to Control & Instrumentation engineering
Computer literacy with proficiency in engineering software and tools
